Using the troubleshooting tool DataFlex Diagnostics

DataFlex Diagnostics is a troubleshooting assistant for DataFlex Environments. It will inspect and report on settings and configurations that may interfere with a succesful installation of DataFlex products, the use of development tools or the deployment of your applications.

It's a handy tool when you hit a problem and have no idea what to check or where to start. In this course we will demonstrate how to install and use DataFlex Diagnostics.

In this lesson we will demonstrate how to install DataFlex Diagnostics.

Running DataFlex Diagnostics

In the previous lesson we downloaded and installed DataFlex Diagnostics. In this lesson, we will run DataFlex Diagnostics on one of our systems to analyze my environment.

Examining the output report

In the previous lesson, we ran DataFlex Diagnostics to analyze our current system. In this lesson we will go over the report that gets generated as a result of the analysis done by the tool.

Sharing the analysis results and Conclusion

In the previous lesson, we talked about the report created by the tool. In this lesson we will look at the other files generated by the tool as well as ways to share results from the analysis just completed.
